Candice Smith, Pastry Chef, Wife & Mother of 2

Since I was 5 years old I was obsessed with cooking shows, baking and pastry in particular. I always dreamed of becoming a Pastry Chef. I started going to school and landed my dream job as one at a local fine dining restaurant, Ocean Boulevard Bistro & Martini Bar. A friend had a small cake business and I was very intrigued by the entire process. I started helping him do cakes now and then in between jobs and learned so much from him (Thanks Jack!). I began playing around with different cake techniques on my own and giving them to family and friends to enjoy. I decided I love making cakes so much that I wanted to start my own business doing just that. I love what I do, love being part of someone’s special day and I love making people happy with sweet treats!
